Vetch – The Video

Yes, I mean vetch, not fetch. As I explained in the last post, vetch is the name of the purple flowering plant seen throughout the video. It is an invasive species here, not native to California, but it makes for a pretty picture nonetheless.

The video was taken at Quail Point Hunt Club. Patty loved getting out to stretch his legs a bit.  He even managed to locate a stray single chukar and when it flushed, it really made his day.

The spring grasses and wild flowers were lush in the valleys but the hilltops were starting to dry out a bit. It won’t take long before we’re back to our typical golden brown California hills.
