When traveling, you can meet new people in all kinds of ways. In Saskatoon, my long-time friends Bill and Michele introduced me to their friends Ed and Karen. At first I was flattered. Then I realized that they all just wanted Patty to meet Lizzie, Ed and Karen’s sweet princess Llewellyn.
Lizzie is an accomplished sharp-tailed grouse hunter. She’s eleven years old and going strong. It was great fun to meet her and, had this trip been during the fall, it would have been even better to watch her hunt.
Thanks Ed and Karen for your hospitality and thanks Lizzie for sharing your backyard with Patty for an afternoon.
